About Me
Hi, I'm Julia. I'm a counsellor and social worker with over fifteen years of experience. My journey began in 2006 when I volunteered as a telephone counsellor for Lifeline Australia.
I completed a Bachelor of Arts in Gender Studies at the Australian National University in 2007 and a Graduate Diploma in Community Counselling at the University of Canberra in 2008.
I worked for ten years as a counsellor in a variety of different fields including domestic and family violence, perinatal depression and anxiety, addictions and suicide prevention.
I completed my Master of Social Work in 2018 and the Specialist Course in Integrative Couples Therapy at Relationships Australia followed by a 12-month couples counselling internship. I currently work with individuals and couples using EFT (Emotionally Focussed Therapy).
